"Work hard and Stay Positive"

As with many small businesses, the Covid pandemic caused financial challenges in 2020 due to shutdowns and size restrictions. But strong family support, faith in God and loan assistance helped Ali Baba Grill get through difficult times. They were forced to change locations to save on monthly costs. Her advice for young professionals facing hardship - “keep working hard, stay positive and always look forward as better times will arrive”. The restaurant does not hesitate to provide community support to help those in need, as well as contributes regularly to food banks, mosques and churches. Catering, an important source of revenue, was impacted in 2020. Ali Baba is hopeful that once demand resumes, they will restart this important service in Boulder and neighboring towns, such as Longmont and Lafayette.
